MILIEU seminar “Funding for research projects, scholarships, and research visits: Sources and tips”, lecturers: Rita Benchivenga (University of Genoa), Cristina Perez Fernandez (Compultense University, Madrid) and Shaban Darakchi (Bulgarian Academy of Sciences). The seminar took place on the 24th of April 2023. Although there are many research funding programs and collaborations, very often information about them can be confusing due to the multitude of measures they include, and sometimes presented in technical language that causes problems for researchers who do not have experience with this type of project financing. Within this seminar, various funding opportunities for research projects, research stays, and conferences will be discussed and basic advice for applications and cooperation between national and transnational research teams will be offered.
