Kadir Has University, Istanbul 4-6 September 2023
The MILIEU team was honoured to participate in the ATGENDER Spring Conference: Feminist Pedagogy of/beyond Borders, held at Kadir Has University in Istanbul on September 4-6, 2023. The Bulgarian MILIEU team’s Lyuba Spasova, Shaban Darakchi, Aleksandra Traykova, and Ralitsa Dimitrova took part in a round table discussion at the conference, which was chaired by GenderX coordinator Mary Lou O’neil. UniGe team members Carla Maria Reale and Alessandro Castelano also attended the conference.
We also had an amazing chance to meet two other MILIEU team members during our work meetings in Istanbul! Cristina Canito and Alessandro Meloni from UniGE were in Istanbul to give a presentation at the Technical University of Istanbul’s conference.
Our visit to Kadir Has provided an excellent opportunity to make new connections, meet prominent colleagues from across Europe, and expand MILIEU’s network. The visit also provided an opportunity to conduct liaison activities with colleagues from MILIEU’s sister project, the Gender X project.
