Abstract:
This webinar focuses on the strategic use of social media in the context of scientific activities. The aim is to provide ESRs with insights into using social platforms to expand scientific networks, acquire essential skills and gain inspiration from experts using social media for scientific goals.
Focus topics:
- Unconventional Networking: exploring unconventional methods of expanding scientific networks using social media.
- Skills acquisition: Develop skills for using social platforms as effective scientific tools.
- Insights from experts: Learn from experienced professionals familiar with using social media for scientific purposes.
Lecturer: Dr. Rita Bencivenga, UNIGE
Rita Bencivenga’s general research interests are in gender in higher education, gender and technology., equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI). Currently she works at the University of Genoa, Italy, as a member of the Ulysseus University TEAM, GenderEX: Gender for Excellence in Research and MILIEU, Women, Disability and Inclusion- Scientific Excellence in Bulgaria. She contributed to creating the UniGE Gender Equality Plan, and she gives speeches and training in Universities and Public Bodies on how to build, manage and monitor GEPs in a gender+ perspective and adding a gender dimension to research and teaching activities. She is an EDI expert and practitioner.
